About Danny Gass:

I started a Career in Public Service right after graduation. I worked (4) years in the US Army as a Medic, Airborne, followed by (3) years Civil Service for the Army as a Paramedic in Alabama. While there I also Taught the Intermediate level EMT at Gadsden State Jr. Collage and worked part time at Talladega Speedway.

I moved to Orlando, Florida in 1983 and went to work for Herndon Ambulance Service, a private ALS transport company, for one year. I was then hired by the Orange County Fire Rescue Department and for the next 25 years I served as a Firefighter Paramedic, Preceptor, EMS Supervisor and Instructor.

I also returned to the race scene at Daytona and Talladega, retiring after 16 years, as the EMS Director.

Not ready to slow down, I went to work for Hall-Mark Fire Apparatus, in outside sales covering Northern Florida. Moving to the present time, I started working For ETR – Georgia, again in outside sales, offering multiple levels of Rescue Vehicles from REV Group. This allows me to offer solutions to those who are now providing that Public Service that is still so important to us all.
