About Scott Newcomer:

Hello Southern Florida!  I am Scott Newcomer.  I will be your new AEV sales representative for ETR -AEV.

 

A little about my background: I have been involved in Fire and EMS service for over 35 years. In September of 1981 started serving with a small volunteer department in rural western Pennsylvania.

 

 After moving to Virginia, I became a member of a combination volunteer/career fire company. I worked my way up to the rank of Lieutenant and became their Apparatus Chairperson. For my paid career, I worked as the Fleet Manager for a private for-profit ambulance service with a fleet of 40 ambulances and multiple services vehicles. In 2017 I left Virginia for the sunny warm climate of Florida and I went to work for ETR as the Inside Sales Engineer. That role gave me the opportunity to learn both the company operations as well as the customer relations side of the company. Part of my duties was to ensure that the customer’s units were built to their desired specifications.

 

This last year has been a great learning opportunity for me. I have enjoyed meeting many new people and furthering my education from all the experienced personnel both at ETR and at AEV.  With my new knowledge and training came this new and exciting new challenge. I am excited to represent ETR as the AEV Regional Sales Manager for Southern Florida. 

 

I am looking forward to serving south Florida and all its fine organizations and people.
